    Yep dremmel and stone wheel.
    Start under the tang, and grind towards the edge, stopping where the stabilizer meets the blade. Grind the stabilizer till its a bit above the blades edge. Then thin the stabilizer on each side, then shape the heal with a small DMT (pocket hone)
