Question on the making of the shorty. Its cracked thru the edge but not thru the spine. Si I'm guessing I'd need to cut it? Or would it snap correctly if put in a vice and forced over? Guessing I got to cut it but just wanted some comments.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 4827My method for cutting is to put it on top of a wet sponge, and cut through with an abrasive disc, like a zip cut wheel. I also only ever use my dremel with a foot pedal control, giving me two hands to control and handling.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Here's a pic.
Wet rag on cutting board, razor c clamped to board, on top of wet rag, spray the blade down, cut from "EDGE TO SPINE"
VERY SLOWLY.....!!!!!
Do not rush this or force the cut, there should be no chattering of the cutting wheel.
If so, ball the rag under the blade so it doesn't.
You want a nice wet pillow under the blade to absorb the vibration.
Keep it wet, keep it cool, and wear your damn safety glasses.!!!
