Har Har Har! Just for that I'm putting double pins with vintage domed pillars on that sweet celebrated FBU.. and it will be ridiculously glorious! take that! Lol
I'll probably get hate mail and death threats over it, but danger comes with the territory when serious coolness is involved! Hehehe“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

Can't wait to see it, MikeT! May as well go with some Kirnite or acrylic swirly stuff as well! Noone has done 3 pins yet! That would be swell!

I rest my case.

Thanked: 4827You could add the mid scale pin as well and make them four pin scales.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

No their not.
The original scales were ivory, and were broke with a piece missing. So i came up with the gun stock scales, not knowing that was what they were called.
I was just following the lines of the blade, and wanted to see if they would work.... They work, but I'll get board some day, and change them.[emoji6]Mike

Dammit !! Might need help with that, in the question of the relationship of the wedge and third (middle) pin, and pivot pin tension, from the scales.
If you understand my question.Mike

I like re-curved scales. I think thats a better name for them... because they dont always look like gunstocks.
When I was first starting out I made a few of those. Still like them but also have been really getting into old 17th early 18th century scale styles and traditional styles lately.
BUT Im not a slave to style hehehe
Here are some nice ones that may be coming up after this celebrated.“You must unlearn what you have learned.”
