As for hoarding, well, back in the 80s, I recall stocking .22 shorts by the full case load. I believe it was 36 bricks to a case? into the basement. At one point there were over 40 of these cases. All gone in just 2 years.
Of course, back then, my dad was running the shooting gallery in Coney Island, and Remington ended production of the special gallery ammo, so hoarding was the only option if he wanted to stay in business!
God, I can't remember the last time I saw a REAL shooting gallery,it's a shame I cant take my boy's to one. I really liked the one at Rye pPlayland, where if you shot a bullseye on one particular target,it took your picture, and they used real .22s....the good old days.

Grizz, my mom might still have her photo from that gallery, where she got that picture shot! The good ol days were not always good. There was a never ending parade of idiots trying to prove that they were not real guns.

Went poking around the old homestead, and found an old case (full of loader tubes but no ammo oh well) And it lists 10,000 rounds per case. So yea, close to a half million rounds of ammo were stored in my basement when I was a boy. I think that qualifies as hoarding. Did I mention my bedroom was in the basement? Good thing Bloomberg wasnt around then, or he would have had my dad arrested for child endangerment, and had all the gallery semi-autos confiscated as assault weapons!

In your dad's time, there were men in that city who would kept Bloomberg in check.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Yes, I believe their names were "Joey, Vinny, Tony, and Guido"

Gloomberg is just another in a long line of bought and paid for politicians who care nothing for history or culture or the people who have to survive in the pool filled with sharks.
Sad to say, NYC has not had a decent mayor since Kotch. (I know, I cant believe I said that either!)
