No picture of tonight's dinner - it was sole with the classic lemon sauce and I used goat milk butter and tarragon instead of parsley (success!), sides of (finally local) snap peas and mixed heirloom tomatoes with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper.
It went down with a bottle of good vermentino - to me that and malvasia bianca are the classic mediterranean wines so just perfect for a summer evening with an ideal weather.
Here's a picture from few days ago when I cooked for just myself the one leftover duck breast from earlier - sides of snap peas and mixed fresh potatoes with butter and dill. I made a relish-type thing to smear on the duck after cooking - fresh mint, garlic, chipotle powder, olive oil, mustard, honey. As I usually do it was very much improvised but it was so good that I am going to be repeating it with the same (well, as same as eyeballed can get you) proportions.
