Thanked: 1185Got 15 minutes on a stationary bike today and the brace came off my leg. The ride wasn't brisk or cool enough to produce the desired Zen effect but I've learned to acknowledge small victories. The therapist also recommended walking in a swimming pool so I'll give that a go after work

Warmup: Lunges, side lunges, knee to chests, cranes, air squats , pushups.
Routine, one set of 8-10 reps: squat jumps, weighted step ups, jump rope 45 sec, push ups, dumbbell squats, bird dogs.
The time off is really apparent doing push ups and lunges. I'll need to put some more effort into those areas.

Leg day for me boys, after a 5 min warm up, I proceeded to squats, then leg press, then did a whole bunch of core and some pull ups. I curled 60's today for the first time as well so that's always encouraging.

That's mine for day after tomorrow - today was chest day - incline, decline and flat bench with machine pec, 50 sit ups, 30 weighted side bends. I love leg day. The only workout that still gives me grief is back and shoulders, those single and double arm dumbbell rows always stiffen me up next day.

I've been a bit of a lazy ass this week but hope to go and ride tonight.

Thanked: 1185Tonight: 15 minutes on the eliptical
During Physical Therapy: 15 minute stationary bike, squats, leg presses, a bunch of practice walking and more stretching exercises than I've done at one time in my life
I had a doctor's appointment before physical therapy. He said the leg was healing nicely and noted significant bone growth. He said my leg was fit for full weight bearing and I no longer needed a cane. Range of motion is still not great but I suspect physical therapy will take care of that.
Of course this is nowhere near the PT regimen I was doing at the time of the accident but being able to get up and walk around and even do the benign low impact, low intensity stuff is a major leap forward. As the leg gets stronger I will of course pick up the routine but for now getting my range of motion back and just being active again is a critical first step. It will no doubt take time to get back to where I was but considering that less than 12 weeks ago I couldn't get out of bed to go pee I'm pretty pleased with my progress. The older I get, the better I was

After doubling up yesterday, today's workout was a bit more mellow. A lot of stretching and a 20 minute Interval run on the treadmill, 3 minute intervals at 5:35/km (7mph). Treadmill running sucks, can't wait to go outside tomorrow.
