Upped weight for flyes.
Db bench press 30, 35, 40, 45kg x8
Db incline press 32.5kg x8 x4
Db decline press 35kg x8 x4
Db flyes 20kg x8 x4
Shoulder press 55kg x8 x4
Front lat raise 17.5kg x8 x4
Side lat raise 17.5kg x8 x4
Bent forward db reverse flyes 15kg x8 x4
Barbell shrugs 140kg x8 x4
Made reps on incline presses and shoulder presses. Will up weight for incline presses next week.My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

Yesterday was the 1st day in a long time that I exercised twice.
Went for a 7.5km run in the morning and then did a 25km singlespeed ride in the late afternoon.Tony

Had a week off from running to get over some minor surgery but I'm going for 8k tomorrow. Gonna take it pretty slow

Monday's lower body, strength training:
Squat jumps 2x10
No pause step ups 2x10
Dumbbell squats 10
Forward lunges 10
Rear lunges 10
Single leg bridges 30 seconds each leg
Bridges 30 seconds
Exercise ball crunches 2x30
Standing calf raises 2x10
Tie curls 2x10, each leg
One leg standing balance 3x30 seconds, each leg
I was pretty beat after a long trail run Sunday and trimming weeds on the trail today, so I was really feeling rough at workout time. I tried out a couple of fitness indicators, too: the standing broad jump and the stiff arm extended plank. The plank was okay but I only jumped 6'8" on the broad jump. Apparently the benchmark is 8'. I'm not sure how much I buy into a one size fits all standard for a jump. It seems like leg length and overall height could play a major role in an individual's effort.

Saturday I did a 9 mile hike while camping by Mt. Rainier. During the hike I climbed in elevation equal to 87 stories. My legs felt it yesterday and today!

Made it out the door. Did 10k instead of 8 but I dawdled. Took me over 2 hours. Almost all healed up so it shouldn't be long til I pick up the speed &/or distance.

With Labor Day in the states I had the day off and the weather was nice.
