Regrinding blades seems to me, could be tough to do and get right without valleys and hills in the face of the blade. Ive never tried it myself but that was kind of you Shaun to give it a go.
Nice job on the scales Mike. Looked like you was dealing with delamination as well and got them all cleaned up. You can only pull off so many miricles in a year. You are the horn king!
As far as paperclips, i just used the standard paper clip that is about 1.75 inches long and a pair of plyers to bend them into shape. On the underneath side they are bent in a zig-zag and taped to the botton to hold them still. While making/bending the paperclips it reminded me of the old days of making custom handle/ends for my pot pipe pokers in the old days. Oh the memories. It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 4827@Gasman, the grinder has a 2” wide belt so it is not as hard to do as I thought. Of course Dave’s grinder is the very best out there so I had the very best tools and at a meet with some very high end blade maker so I also had very good instruction. Tom sent me those to give me more material to learn on. They are not perfect, but they are at least going to be useable, I think.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

And besides, I gave those to Rez because I knew he would be in a good spot to learn on them.
Looks like he did!
