    A few years ago African Blackwood was used for my son's brush handle and the Blackwood wasn't highly thought of. I'm glad that you've come to enjoy it's properties!

    It is nice stuff! I have a Pixelfixed brush of it. Feels great in the hand. Seems quite hard and durable as well.

    Why do people drag 60 grit sandpaper perpendicularly across a razor's finely ground surface? Aarrgh! The scratches are light and will come out fairly easily or I'd be on the blower demanding a return.
