Thanked: 26Does anyone know where I can find a handle for a seven day set of john barber razors? The handle comes off and the razors attach. I've never seen that before.

Thanked: 4827Now there is a serious challenge. Both finding one or having one made for your set. I think anyone trying to make one would either have to be a machinist or have infinite patience. Most of the set sets you see are part sets. Of those part sets the most common parts to see missing is blades, so there is hope.

Thanked: 4827just be as persistent as Phrank when you are looking for stuff. I have no idea if all the brands used the same fit and lock on the handle or not but it would be worth trying out. Making one would be way easier with a prototype. Just keep looking and then look a little more and you will find it. They are out there!

For shame sharptonn! I'm surprised you don't have a couple kickin' around somewheres.
It wouldn't be super easy, but it would be doable to make a handle with a spring/lever mechanism to hold these in place.
My recommendation, is to bring a blade to a machinist to make the mechanism. Those guys usually love odd-ball stuff to break away from the day-to-day machining. And bring donuts, they'll cut you a better deal. Or talk to someone who has a 3-D printer, it may be more economical to make, although very from original equipment. There are metal 3D printers now, but I dunno how suitable it would be in wet condition and the strength of the material.Last edited by dinnermint; 11-18-2016 at 03:47 PM.

If we are talking about it. I did once upon a time as in the photo.
For the sake of compactness, the handle was not full, and only half to hold in the hand and the mechanical lock with the flat spring. It becomes not reliable. Loose. I did the shanks are of two types. Of bone and of metal. And then collected with a conventional handle
