Thanked: 2284Here you go. What I was working on. All done now, just needs a few more coats of Hard Wax Oil. A little tease of another Pixelfixed inspired brush.
I'll post the rest tomorrow morning while I'm having a coffee.

I like it but could you have set it a little deeper and save the 1?
Or I?

Dang! You may have sunk it in deeper and left it be!
It is amazing how white it is as-turned.
Definitely reminds of old Bill!

Thanked: 2284I considered leaving it just the way it is. It would work too if I cupped the bottom of the handle and then inlaid it. The button would never touch when set down. Maybe in the future I'll do one that way. I still have 2 bigger buttons left.
The wood showing is African Ebony, and the top which you can't see is Thuya burl.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

Thanked: 2284You guys are making me feel bad now....
Only reason a bring up new surface is because the grain in elephant ivory is amazing. Like wood but it forms an X pattern. Can't see it in the picBurls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....
