Thanked: 4249For pins filling I use a set of EZE Lap small diamond files/plates, comes in medium, fine, superfine. Many uses for these little plates as well, you can easily reshape part of your razor, smooth out a burr etc. You could probably fix the geometry and stabilizer on a gold dollar with these as well but no guarantees on that since I have no experience with GD nor do I want any.

Thanks Martin. Ill look into those. They look a bit wide for file use to me but with some care i guess it can be done.

About 6 months ago I noticed some fresh rust on this Merx razor. Removed from gen pop and quarantined i just opened the container for the first time since then. The blade had a nice coating of Ren wax on it.. did not matter. Definitely off gassing. No heavy odor when I opened the container they were in though.
Faux ivory scales?
I have a few little fix up razor jobs im gonna get done today. First thing on the list is get this blade out of these scales.
