Thread: What are you working on?

Nice work on the 50 mike. Reminds me of the Henkel torpedo I redid last year in profile. It's a nimble little shaver as well.
Nice sanding jig as well Mr Chick! Will make for smoother, safer blade restores for sure.
I made mine out of wear strip material, basically the same idea, but made out of hard nylon type material that has the end stop already built in.
Works well for the task of razor restorations.

Rainy day here. Sitting on the floor reorganizing some old barber/shaving stuff still jumbled-up from the move home several months ago in 3 old sterilizer cabinets. It was somewhat organized chaos before. Now, just chaos.



Some neat stuff in these. All sorts of safety-razors. A Vestpok razor, Kewtie, blades, etc.
A card from Neil Miller, Josh from Wyomissing, Our own 'Painless Jimmy, and one from Glen, who once owned and used these cabinets. A little tin of 'Miller's Strop Dressing'!



An old Nylon brush with a fishing fly in the handle. Pocket-folding 'finger' DE.
Ivory snuff box from Old William Howcroft Razor Maker, Sheffield (Probably should be in a more prominent spot...At least I know where it is!)



After a bit, cleaning the glass and all.....Organized chaos!

There's a lot'a love in there.

It will be nice when I redo the hoarders corner. It does make me just a wee envious to see organized and displayed stuff.

I wish I had a big enough room like Tom's to display my shaving stuff. I have just the old Gerstner box.

It's not very big, John. I had to lie on the floor up on an elbow all contorted to get it done!

I sure liked that photo of your work shave den where people waited, that was classic.

Now, imagine it all crammed into a small bedroom.
Had to get pretty creative!

Well, I just stole it & I'm going to put it in my NOOK where I display photos of my collections.
I will tell them it's your Shave Den though.
