I remember when I was about 10-12 years old and my beloved Granny Davis was looking through our very small town's newspaper when she said;
"Must be getting old, don't know nobody that died".
She was a simple woman with a 2nd grade education but she successfully ran the farm after her husband passed away in 1953 till she passed away in 1975. I really miss her; as the first grandchild she spoiled me rotten.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
