    Default Cornell & Diel Update

All of the tobaccos made the cut. The Billy Budd latakia/cigar leaf blend took a few bowls to figure out, but I like what I have. I don't know that I will be ordering more, but I will enjoy the 4oz I bought. Favorites are the Pegasus, Bayou Morning, and Engine 99. The Old Joe Kranz is good, but I like the Haunted Bookshop better.

This is a really new experience for me. I smoked nothing but Half & Half for years until the Internet. I'd buy high end pipes, mostly used, but rarely tried new tobaccos. Once the internet came along I tried a few, and mostly stuck with those over the years. Now I've got so many I don't know which to smoke next.

Here is a pipe I bought 12 or so years ago by an Italian Artisan, Baldo Baldi. He doesn't use power tools, everything is done with hand tools.

You are in that way opposite of me. Smoking is about the tobacco and the pipe is just a delivery tool.

I would much rather have a good tobacco in an ugly pipe than the other way around!

Well I have always liked pretty women, and pretty pipes. Women are out of the question, and I've got plenty of pipes, so now I'm focusing on the tobacco. Old dogs can learn new tricks sometimes ...................

I'm glad you are expanding your smoking tobacco horizon's Jimmy. It's all good.

I have really enjoyed my transition from cigars to pipes. The range of pipe tobacco's and blends, not to mention the variety of pipes is a continuous adventure.
