Managed to get a 4.3km run in this afternoon.

I went for a 2.2 mile run this afternoon. The leg that had all the IT band issues was tight so I figure I need to do more stretching and rolling.

Upped weight for decline presses.
Db bench press 35, 40, 45, 50kg x8 @2min
Db incline press 40kg x8 x4 @2min
Db decline press 40kg x8 x4 @2min
Db flyes 22.5kg x8 x4 @2min
Shoulder press 65kg x8 x4 @2min
Front lat raise 20kg x8 x4 @2min
Side lat raise 20kg x8 x4 @2min
Bent forward db reverse flyes 17.5kg x8 x4 @2min

This evening's lower body workout:
Squat jumps 2x10
Dumbell squats 3x6
Forward lunges 8, each side
Rear lunges 8, each side
Crunches 45
Plank 1 minute
Bridges 2x30 seconds
Single leg balance 3x30 seconds, each side
Standing calf raises 2x10
10 minutes of stretching and foam rolling.

Dead lift 170, 180, 190, 200 kg x 5 @2min
Standing bent over barbell rows 85 kg x8 x4 @2min
Bench bent over db rows 45 kg x8 x4 @2min
Close grip v handle pull down 60 kg x 8 x 4 @1min
Reverse barbell wrist curls 20kg x 8 x 4 @1min
Dumbell wrist curls 20kg x8 x4 @1min
Couldn't quite get the last rep on deads. As I don't want to raise the weight am working on form and making sure that I lock out at the top so will probably go back and forth between making and not as I make it harder without upping the weight. Added wrist curls to help with grip strength.My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

I always aim to get reps fail or not. I just go till I can't get another rep. I try for it but may only get a partial. As it has been strength based training it is often explosive movement so I want to get it slower and more contolled now I have the weight up. I am happy with how it is all progressing and have come further than I thought I would for only training again for just over a year.

Haven't done anything this week. Have had a head cold which I picked up from the girlfriend so trying to prevent it from going to my chest.
