Well today I finally bit the bullet and admitted that I am probably going backwards a bit trying to work past my shoulder. So today I lowered the weight by 2 of the increments I have been putting them up and increased the reps to 10. This will take stress of the shoulder and all my joints, ligaments, tendons etc that have been giving me issues for a while. I have been doing constant strength training for about 15 months now so I have had a good run. Doing the maths most exercises I will actually be moving more weight by volume and I will try to at least match on those that are still lighter like lat raises. Went well today and although still there shoulder wasn't such an issue. Hopefully will give me a chance to get my shoulder and grip strength up before the weight gets back up again.

    Db bench press 30, 35, 40, 45kg x10 x 4 @2min
    Db incline press 35kg x10 x4 @2min
    Db decline press 35kg x10 x4 @2min
    Db flyes 17.5kg x10 x4 @2min

    Shoulder press 60kg x10 x4 @2min
    Front lat raise 15kg x10 x4 @2min
    Side lat raise 15kg x10 x4 @2min
    Bent forward db reverse flyes 15kg x10 x4 @2min
    Barbell shrugs 170kg x12 x4 @1min

    Static barbell holds 140kg for 15 sec x 4 @1min

Those exercises due to go up only decreased by 1 increment. Shrugs I had noted wrong and have been at 12 reps all along so left as is. Sorry for the long post.

Welcome to the club, where number crunching fails do to joints. It only means you will spend 3 to 4 times longer working on that wright.

I do plan on building back to the weight level I was at but hopefully this time with the weak spots sorted out and a little more muscle size to help take the brunt of it

I thought about dusting off the weight bench today, does that count?
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Same again lower weight and up reps

    Dead lift 150, 160, 170, 180 kg x 8 @2min
Standing bent over barbell rows 75 kg x10 x4 @2min
Bench bent over db rows 40 kg x10 x4 @2min
    Close grip v handle pull down 55 kg x 10 x 4 @1min
    Reverse dumbell wrist curls 10kg x 10 x 4 @ consecutive alternating
    Dumbell wrist curls 20kg x10 x4 @ consecutive alternating

Was too optimistic with the deads. First 2 sets I made but fell down after that. Will drop back to 7 next week. At 7 I will be doing more volume than my last set previously so not bad still and will be the same as the rest at 2 extra reps.

Only if that is more stimulation than your brain normally gets

This evening I went on a 2.5 mile run. For a cooldown I walked past a pond and back. I saw a muskrat swimming in the pond and a flock of geese came in for a landing right at dark. It was a nice end to a pleasent run.
