I understand Roy and I was enjoying a malt beverage as well so your spirit was here. I had no idea your spirit animal was Budweiser: D most all of the wood from the tear down is gone. If I keep any more stuff my wife will kill me. She is up to here with my scavenger ways. Plus there wasn't much old wood really. Mostly paneling.

I was thinking of the wood from the piano---------------------------------------
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Well it's been a little while since I did a resto but I'm on vacation and some last minute issues with my special lady friends job have postponed my camping trip till Thursday. So how to eliminate boredom? Ah yes razors.
Of course I grabbed an easy one.

I have seen a cool chair and a hall-tree made from an old piano. Some have some nice legs and feet, not to mention sweet slabs all-over. Getting the iron 'harp' out of the back of some lightens them up considerably. The wood is always good stuff and the finish on most goes for a cool-looking table, etc. We took an old player apart a long time ago. What an adventure!

Some A hole painted this piano, I have a feeling that when it was new it was a beautiful piece. It's in my "cellar" basically a windowless room my favorite thing to do is go in there and hit the low note. It creeps my wife out and I get yelled at. [emoji23]
