Some things I started toying with. These are 2 projects I started without a game plan. Just start off with a general idea and then see where things go. The first is an O2L6 Damascus blade. Originally I thought to make it a draco design razor. Not entirely sure if I will continue in that direction but I do want to set a string of gems in the edge of the tail.

This one is going to have a big gem set in the shoulders. Don't quite know yet what. And it started out as a regular razor but may yet become a fixed handle razor. I am thinking of a string of gems starting at the big one and running all the way into the tail.

It's nice to see you ever expanding your boundries Bruno. So many of the different makers web sites are just the standard for that maker. I like to see your work and the new ideas unfolding in steel.

I have a 133 where the scales come together. I'll try to post a pic. I think I sent Mike a picture of the logo so he could try to scan it.

Cool~I have a brand new Red Imp strop, says Certifyd at the bottom w/700C & a wreath around the numbers/letter. I need to find my Red Imp but it's a Morris 132. I'd like to have the case version of a 133.

Everyone has one but me. I DO have a 700C Certifyd strop, however.
It is a Clydesdale Shell one......

I have 2 NOS Japanese strops directly from Japan. Definitely Kanayama's work.
Both have a Red Imp plastic cover on them as they arrived. Humm?

I have a theory the leather was made in USA. Strop was made in Japan?

I had to edit my previous post. I said 700D before but it's a 700C. Since we had a quick strop showing, I also had to show the one under my Red Imp which is a Koken Royal 957 Barber's Hand Finish Man o' waR Genuine Shell Horsehide which is very smooth & like new. Since Mike showed his linen side I took a pic of mine also.

I gave $150 for that Koken strop along with a 7" Escher.

Awesome strops guys, mine was a bit more seasoned than yours... it needed a good saddle soap scrub down and was pretty dry, so it needed a touch of neatsfoot oil. I find mine to be very fast with very little draw. It would be nice it there was more draw because draw gives you more control. It's still a very nice vintage strop that was a barbers friend long before it became another tool that hangs on our bathroom door.
