I"m no seamstress but I do know how to hand and machine sew and have since I was 8 years old I was thinking that perhaps this might be a solution, but maybe not!
I hope that Razorfeld will pipe in with his two cents.

Jerry don't let anyone stifle your creativity, bedazzle away Sir. An American flag bedazzled on one would be sweet!

Thanked: 4206Just cleaning up one of the clones after truing up the new jaws in the three jawed set.
Made terrific thin cuts even with very little sidewall left..

Got this Made in England 2/8 spike point ready for the homes. New Horn scales and Brass pins and washers. It took a bevel set in a heart-beat as I checked it before I made new scales. And a Pic of it next to my only 8/8, Old School Phily.
By tomorrow morning it will be ready for Roy to show me how to shave with it.

I've had a King straight razor that has needed attention & I did something with it yesterday. Part of the round point was chipped off so I made it a square point. I figured that was best because if I had made it a round point again, it may have lost some length but this way if it did lose any, it is thousandths of an inch.
Here's what it looked like at first:
This is it after modification compared to another King lined up at the stabilizers & before sanding it through progressions:
These last two are after sanding & hand polished:
Next is to the buffer & it should shine a little better then the hones.
