So did our Chief Enabler enable this band-saw? Please show us what you get!

That's the one. Its in a box in the living room right now and i have no time to open it. Worked a 14 hour day today then had to stop at the store on the way home. Just about ready for a shower and bed so i can go do it again tomorrow but i will have some time to open it soon.
It's just Sharpening, right?

The wife has this stool in the garage and you know its almost a perfect fit. I just pulled the saw out of the box to be sure it wasn't damaged from shipping. It still needs adjusted/setup before i can use it. But it runs and all parts are here so i guess I now have a small band saw.Last edited by Gasman; 10-31-2020 at 11:57 PM.

It does look like it was made for the saw. Is the stool tall enough to work comfortably? How secure does it feel? A you've found that saw does have a bit of heft to it.
Anyway, now to get everything set up, adjusted and have some fun!Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Its a little too short. But now I have a good idea on what I might build. Although, if I added casters...
Or a base with casters that lock and set the stool on that... Maybe the wife wont have a fit. This might work jf I add a rubber mat between the saw and stool! It's just Sharpening, right?

So much for drilling holes in the seat of the stool to secure the saw-------
If you build a unit to mount it on AFTER you get it out of storage do you think that you could build a multipurpose stand to put say the belt sander on also? Just just a thoughtOur house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 2209Whatever base you build just be sure it is on castors/wheels. I have my Wilton Square wheel grinder on a base with wheels and really appreciate the ability to move it around. the one I have was welded up by the prior owner so if you can find some plans please share them. There are a few more tools I would like on a movable stand.

My issue is storage. My garage is full and with the two cars in it Im having a hard time finding floor space for these items. My work bench doesnt need another tool mounted to it as it is. This is why I was thinking of storing this hanging. When I need it I could lower it down onto a rolling table. Making a table that will fold up also would be best. And if I could use it to hold different tools when I need them....
This is going to take some thinking. It's just Sharpening, right?

I keep telling people garages are not for parking cars in!
