Thanked: 4827@moutonrouge
As I have just started doodling and doing some more simple bone carving I am watching with wide eyes. Doodling and getting the layout correct is quite a challenge for me. All in good time I suppose. I have at the same time started playing with mother of pearl. You will see my progress here as time passes.
For you outline in silver wire are you going to inlay square wire? What gauge? It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

That's fantastic, I love the design you have started on there. Very interesting, and I was instantly awed by the complexity and technical skill required to do what you are doing!

Thanked: 4249Removed the badly rusted pin, cleaned up the blade a little. Ran the razor over the green brick to make sure it would hone up fine. Reshaped the tail or lack of one on the older hand crank grinder.

Co-worker bought a Puma 88 from the bay. Honed it up for him tonight. After chasing some pitting out of the edge I got a fine bevel on it. Shaved quite nice.

A few years back ('09 or '10) I remodeled the interior. I have pics, just can't find 'em. Replaced every king stud,
added windows under the car port (other side), rewired electrical so that I have an outlet every 4', added five
4' shop lights, insulated the walls, sheetrocked, installed a double wide overhead door, decked the attic, dropped
cable for the flat screen and installed a toilet. An A/C, a refridgerator (for beer) and a stereo (fisher tower speakers
powered by a teacs tuner) iced the cake.
