    Very Nice I too like how it's recessed. Did you use magnets to hold the razors? Also did you use Tru Oil for the finish? Inquiring Minds Want To Know
    Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

    Thank you!

    Yes, 1/2" x 1/4" neo magnets were used. I had a handful on hand, but had to order more, they are suppose to be in Thursday.

    The finish is, 3 coats of MinWax and 2 coats of Tung Oil, with probably 3 more coats of Tung Oil to go.

    While waiting for the knot for my horn brush, I will try to resurrect this late 1700's razor.

    Bound to bed by flu/cold whatever for the last few days, couldn't go to work today (comes and goes in waves you know) and woke up this afternoon struck by lightning - decided to go French full options - used the scales from a previous failed project to outline the new ones;

    had to use some awfully cut bone blanks and spent some time getting these flat as much as possible, taped these together with double sided tape - you know the drill

    Thug and ejmolitor37 like this.

    Doodling seems the most difficult task, hope to finish in a few days and get started with carving
