    +1 on the scrapers. Just a little pile of curly shavings and none of that nasty burnt hair smell clinging to your clothes.

    Found a thinner wedge to keep the blade sitting-up a bit.
    Old-pre-war scales and a 472 Friodur blade will be something different!

    They did look like some nice scales. Nice fit with that wedge.

    I decided to go against convention on this one......
    Found a black wedge, using Austin's brass collars instead of silver.
    Everything is all polished-up. Will pin it all up later.

    Weather is too nice. Gonna go out and wash my car!

    HAR! They are celluloid. Center inlay is silver and outer bands are brass.
    Funny, an ebay seller was advertising some as Judaica.
    I reckon the center-front reminded him of the wailing wall??
