    Gee, THANKS outback!
    Thats what its for.
For when ya want to do something
    Outside the box.
I was thinking of making a plaster mold of a set of scales. Then make a set of thin fibreglass markata type scales that match as a backer.
Coat the inside of the plaster mold with thinned elmers glue, once dry I can spray it with a silicone mold release. Fill mold slightly with resin or epoxy, let it set up mostly, then glitter, a bit more resin, then the fiberglass backer.
Once cured...break the mold away from the scales.
But that will have to wait for warmer weather.
I make plastic worms for fishing that way[emoji6]

    Did not know that Tony.
Eww, and thanks for the tip. I just remember him as a 80s music name.
Glad justice was served. Have to come up with another clever segue into the use of glitter in my hobby-dom repertoire now.

Yeah, actually all joking aside, I figured I would make some special scales with the glitter................some kind of design & possibly with a mold like outback mentioned.

Thanks, there was a write up??

Aluminium wedge / Nickel pin/ Steel collars.

The tip of the blade is so close to the wedge only air could pass between. The Hart pivot screw equals no lateral movement .

I just honed it up , it took over an hour. I had issues reaching the edge on one side at the tip. Its ready for action now.
