Thanks guys, Tim, a redneck you may be, but your one rednevk I like, and that ultrasound guy is pretty cool too, somewhere in his past I think he was a roughneck too. Tc

I am an educated redneck, who was raised in a house of roughnecks. And my father is a pastor. That should paint a pretty accurate picture.

Yesterday I give this Wacker and Henckels a nice edge update.
Welsh slate with oil.( about 16.000 grit)
And then about 100 Times leather.
    Again freaking sharp.

Just starting to find the time to fit in a few of my own razors for a light touch up in fact I'm going to give this beautiful Iwasaki half hollow 7/8 a run out on Sunday.

Bouchet, Bellay (France) 6/8 near wedge: Naniwa Chosera 1k, Norton 4k, Norton 8k, Livi CroX and leather loom strop.

My 'go-to' synthetics are Shapton GS 1-16k, with the Nortons neglected for years.

Today I pulled them out - I'd forgotten how good they are, great edge!

Today I refined the factory bevel of these 2 Grelots; the 357, 1/2 hollow, 5/8 and the 791, full hollow, 5/8, on Naniwa Specialty Stones, 5, 8 and 12 K, followed by the J-Nat and about 100 x leather.
