The Best Part of Thanksgiving
The leftovers- tonights dinner features a big honkin turkey sandwich with melted gouda cheese, mayonaise and cranberry sauce washed down with a cold Yuengling Lager. Piece (or pieces) of pie for dessert (probably pecan and or sweet potato), that should be great for my type 2 diabetes
Oh well, I'll behave in a week or two.

We just got our power back,after a very cold 2 1/2 days. The Turkey has been in the snow bank since Wednesday night....it's Saturday...and we have our power back and now we can have Thanksgiving !!!!

Used Alton Browns ...Shepard Pie recipe...but I used ground pork,hamburger,deer burger...its the best pie I have made !! Had to take a quick pic..before it was gone !!!

hope the photo is here. Thick Pan fried pork chop with gravy mashed taters purple hull peas beets and home made biscuits. ice tea Pecan pie later all eaten in front of the tube. shoes off and kicked back.
