You get to make the dust, I'm just sending some pieces you can sand from. I'd do it, but my damn tendinitis is trying to come back. So I've been taking a break and letting things settle back down. Got Fishin season coming around the corner, gonna need my arms for the tournaments. [emoji6]

Question, and yes I've looked but can't find an answer
When bluing a tang, what do you do between coats? The one I am working on shows the rust color coming through the bluing in spots.
I have used 0000 steel wool so far and am on the 3rd coat. Never done this before and I'm using the sharpie type bluing pen for this.
This is on the Ka-Bar I got a while back.
Thanks fellasLook sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Thanked: 4826That is all I do between coats. If you het any oil at all on it, it will not blue. Gloves are very important because a finger print will effect the look and colour of the bluing.
