Bought some honey horn from the same gent I got my stacked washers from. Thicker slabs than from robbsbits but they turned out very nicely on my first try. Used em on a Joseph Rodgers restore I did a month back.
    Nice colour to em.

Well, until about a couple weeks ago i had 30 or so. Then I saw this big collection on the Bay, so I sold my motorcycle that my wife was terrified of me riding anymore after I laid it down on the highway needing stitches in places that I couldn't reach to sew myself up , and I got the lot. Now she says I have an addiction. But that's better than a drug addiction I told her. Hmm
There were about 125 razors in the collection. Some amazing razors too, most though were so so, but a whole lot of random manufacturers, so that's cool. I told myself I would sell 3/4 of them but have grown sentimental.. would it be right? Out of respect for a fellow brother of the blade, could I break up his collection? I don't know.

Amazing Mike, I missed that one!!! I couldn't have afforded it anyway so I'm glad a fellow member got it. I have a few W&B's but I have more Greaves than anything.

All's done except, beveling and applying the finish, I'm thinking multiple coats of tounge oil in gloss finish.

Maybe MikeT (he of the 50 W&Bs) is the answer to the question posed in this thread about W&B prices:http://straightrazorpalace.com/aucti...nny-story.html

Funny thing. I've noticed W&B prices have increased quite a bit, especially the big bladed ones are going well over $300. I even saw a W. Greaves with a larger than 8/8 blade go for I think it was more than $330 just the other day. I got all mine a much longer time back when they were cheaper. I stopped by a resale shop on my way home Saturday coming from my mothers birthday party & asked the guy if they had any straight razors & he told me they had quite a few but someone came by & bought ALL of them one day.
