I have a couple of henckels en route as well for some project work. A 72 1/2 inox and a 14.
Couple weeks out still, but fun winter work I reckon.
    Cheers.

Great! Looks like that Dremel might then be making an overdue appearance.

Will get my Japanese trip over first.

Well, outback. I was referring to myself, actually. Just CA'd my wedge to one side of the scales. Some light steel wool reveals that this TruOil is going to really fill and hide lots of defects. As I get the wedge sized, I will do a few more coats.
    No rush....

I resemble that remark myself. Piddling that is.
Wife has me firmly engaged in domestic fall prep jobs today.
Sending this from my phone in the lav so I don't get caught, hehe.
Did have time to test the Dorko this morning though. Great results. Performed as hoped and honed up fast. Will start to disassemble my old WB tonight.

I used Gorrilla thick to adhere my wedge on one scale, bolted it down to set. Assembled all mocked-up, tapped the wedge in and filed, sanded smooth. Now back apart to finish the TruOil job. Should go together smoothly as-done.

So, outback. The last coat of this Truoil has to go on super-smooth. Any tricks to doing that?
