I'm pretty sure that quote is from Wild Bill, "when asked how to win a gunfight he supposed to have said take slow and accurate aim,as fast as you can " won't swear to it but I've heard that one most of my shooting life.

That sounds right. I RO'ed Jerry when he shot at Bisley here in the UK, I think in 1989. That was something he said at the time. We had shirts made up and I've still got mine.
